Connecting People, Preserving Places

Allikawsana means "good life" in Kichwa. We're building a platform where authentic travel experiences create positive impact for Ecuador's communities and ecosystems.

Our Story

Allikawsana was born from a simple observation: the most meaningful travel experiences are those that connect us with local people and places, yet these connections are often the hardest to find.

Founded in 2022 by a team of Ecuadorian tourism experts and international regenerative development professionals, we set out to bridge this gap by creating a platform that directly connects travelers with authentic community experiences.

We started in Ecuador, a country of extraordinary biodiversity and cultural richness, where indigenous communities maintain strong connections to their ancestral lands and traditions. Our vision is to create a model of tourism that respects and celebrates these communities while providing economic opportunities that support conservation and cultural preservation.

Measuring What Matters

At Allikawsana, we believe in transparency and accountability. That's why we track and report on our social, economic, and environmental impact.

For every experience booked through our platform, we measure:

  • Percentage of revenue that goes directly to local communities
  • Number of community members supported
  • Environmental footprint and conservation contribution
  • Cultural preservation activities supported

We publish an annual impact report and are committed to continuous improvement in how we create positive change through tourism.
